Joshua “Toby” Alan

Joshua Alan doesn’t just sing Toby Keith’s songs. He brings back the swagger, the humor and the big-hearted patriotism that made Toby a stadium act.

Josh has been making music since he was eight years old, and he earned his BA in music from Cedarville University in 1998. Originally from northwest Ohio, he now lives on South Carolina’s Grand Strand, where he serves as music director at Christ Church Murrells Inlet. He’s also a seasoned dueling-piano entertainer, so he knows how to read a room and keep it on its feet all night.

He built The Red Solo Show as a full concert experience: the voice, the look and the stage presence fans remember, backed by a band that plays the songs the way they sound on the radio.

Like Toby, Josh writes for the people who serve. His original song “I Salute You” honors our military and first responders, and it makes a natural moment in patriotic and Veterans Day shows.
